Go Beebe! Wonderful news about school.

Talk to trees. Talk to plants. Talk to animals. Talk to computers. Talk to machines. I do this to all of them. And they all seem to like it and cooperate better with me. Of course you have to be careful. I’ve had people get really cranky because their dog loves me best after 3 minutes. And the people who snarl after their computers start working once I touch….

Now if only it were as easy for me to convince myself to do the same with people as it is with dogs and computers….

I feel your pain with sheep pedicures. It's our least favorite part of having goats. We have one goat, Rascal, the size of a deer, who makes it almost impossible to trim his hooves. I spent a week building a stanchion to make it easier on my husband's back, and he refuses to use it. He likes to tough it out, I guess.

So glad to hear that Beebe is recovering well and you're receiving some appreciation at school Your school kitchen stories always sounded like you were making a positive impact. Happy they see it that way.

A stanchion is next on my DIY list! And yes (re: school), it's nice to be appreciated for once!
