- two thoughts though & easily addressed - odd phrasing end of paragraph before her aunt emerges from office.. & suspect 1/2 of the “she’ & “her” pronouns can be seriously trimmed away.. it’s abundantly clear ‘she is female & is ‘her (Cormac McCarthy was/is a master of - not needing pronouns - yet abundantly clear who was ‘speaking or thinking.. - Indeed Pretty Horses commences with a Family Ranch - the Estate & an unfortunate Will..)

.. visited the sparkle times a bit later.. had me laughin.. parked it at the 6 minute mark for later return haha.. but as a farm lad somewhat growed up.. it’s fascinating

.. i take no prisoners ! But Cold Mountain & those two darn women on the farm ! My oh My.. Now in truth.. the husband was sending his way home - but ! Those two were dynamite farmers / survivors .. ‘characters ! So yes haha - can certainly picture you farming onwards ! Gettin the chores looked after - with sparkles & aforethought ..

I dig your bee stuff though ain’t got stung by those posts yet.. bees n me has a deal.. we great pals & i been stung big time too.. well over a hundred during one event.. my reading always includes ‘bee health’ / pollination etc

I am looking forward to where this is going. So many questions. Lol, farm size, what is raised, the love hate relationship. Looking forward to future chapters. The strange thing is that I see your face in the main character and it's your voice telling the story.
