It's a bummer that you can't just put in a wood stove.

It really is! I grew up stacking firewood and I really miss the wood-heat!

Yeah, I grew up with it too.

It's a pity we can't somehow get my son out there to your place. He's a mechanical engineer, and he once offered to design & build a wood stove that would heat the RV I live in. It would have sat outside and hooked in with the propane furnace somehow.

I have no doubt that he could have done it, but I had to decline because -- how the heck do you take something like that with you when it's time to move to a new camping spot?

Anyway, 'twould be interesting to see what he could do with your place.

On a more serious note, you shoulder so many tasks, confidently, study solutions to up your game, and maintain a can-do outlook that is far from mere bravado. I think of sorting seeds, try sprouting some garbanzos and eat in a salad or omelette.

Actually, I grow microgreen and sprouts all winter! So yummy and fresh!

Yes I sure have!🥰 Unfortunately winter-sowing just hasn't lined up for me for a number of reasons...🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
